Artemis Fowl The Eternity Code
by Eoin Colfer

Artemis Fowl is in trouble and has put the fairy people in danger as well but together they save everyone, except for Artemis' mind. Artemis Fowl has a plan. His father has risen from his hospital bed determined to make his family finances and enterprises one hundred percent legal. Artemis, his thirteen year old son, has one more job in mind. After all, he had set up the meeting with Jon Spiro way before his father regained consciousness. Butler, his bodyguard, is on high alert. He glares at most of the people in the restaurant expecting an attack. Artemis is not concerned. After all, they are in a restaurant in the middle of the day. Surely, he wouldn't be assassinated in public.

The Arctic Incident Artemis Fowl, Book 2
by Eoin Colfer

Artemis Fowl wants to find his father, held hostage in Russia; Holly Short wants to find who’s supplying the goblins with human technology; Foaly wants to find out who’s disabled all the LEP Technology and pointed the finger at him. Artemis has received a ransom demand for his father but is captured by the LEP who suspect him of supplying the goblins with dangerous Human technology (batteries). He convinces them he’s innocent and agrees to help them if they help him free his father. Meanwhile, down in the underground world, chaos has arisen. An unknown traitor has stolen forbidden weapons and armed a horde of trolls, setting them loose to wreak havoc on the citizens. Clues lead Captain Holly Short straight to Artemis, and she exacts a small bit of revenge by kidnapping him, just as he once kidnapped her. But soon she learns that Artemis isn’t behind the chaos, and if she’s to have any hope of stopping it, she will need his help. As a result, these onetime adversaries must now join forces—a mix that proves to be both charming and volatile.

Spark
by Sarah Beth Durst

I loved “Spark” from the very second I saw it’s cover. I am a Sarah Beth Durst’s fan, and I think her books are a must-read. Mina is a quiet girl who lives in the farm in Alloria. The weather here is always perfect because the storm beasts control it. Mina thinks that she does not quite belong in Myrtis Lightning school, but she rediscovers herself when she decides to speak up that their perfect weather can cause deaths on the other side of the mountains. I absolutely loved this book, and it covers a lot of important topics. This is the type of book that you “dive into”. You cannot really put it down, and even if you do, you keep thinking about it. Sometimes, you feel bonded with a book and you can feel Mina’s sadness, disappointment, nervousness and happiness. I would recommend this book to all the “quiet” people, and to people who are not confident and think that maybe they should be somewhere else.

Dandy
by Dyckman, Ame

This is a cute story about a father's love for his little girl, which is greater than the need for approval of his neighbors.

T-bone The Drone
by Mcclosky

I liked that he had a drone but didn't like that he turned down playing with his friends.
